Got approved yesterday, but they're taking forever to reconnect the Islamabad embassy even though they reconnected the Karachi consulate already , Wish they would hurry up with getting all the posts online. If it isn't online by the end of this week.....

Nah i just checked it and it still the same.

Silly goose, soon my friend soon. :P Heheheheee (L)

YIPPPPEEEEE (I think)

Status this morning says ISSUED!!!

But if they aren't printing visas, what does this mean?

Also, the fine print is confusing...

Issued
Immigrant Visa Case Number: Case Creation Date: 17-Apr-2014 Status Updated Date: 25-Jun-2015
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

Please note: Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. Also, some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO more good news this is turning out to be a great well so happy for you and the rest of the gang!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they put that there to make everyone nervous but it say issured and the list if not mistaken has Canada as one of the ones now working on Visa's so soon my dear friend soon. :) WOW must feel like heaven to finally get your Visa. :)(L)

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this...,.

My passport was picked up at the consulate in Montreal on Friday, June 26/18. Last scan update by Loomis says it departed the terminal in Lachine Quebec on June 26/15 at 19:22 hours.

There has been no update on where the package is. No scan since it left the terminal. It's coming to Alberta, could this mean it's lost?

I called Loomis to inquire and the gal told me that she would pass my inquiry to a CSA and someone would call me today.

I am worried for nothing?? It would be just my luck that they would lose my passport

My turn to rant...AGAIN!!!

GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Another delay.....in AP

Seems that because the government departments associated with this process have been less than speedy at processing our file....my PIC (Police Information Check) has expired (they are only good for a year). You think they would have noticed that it would expire before they could complete the work when I gave it to them at the interview and let me know then....

SOoooooooooooo after a 2 hour wait to request said report, I can expect a new PIC in about a week....

Lord only knows how long it will take them to issue my Visa after that

Well, I never did get an update scan on tracking my package, but I called again and they told me it was at Loomis and ready to be picked up!

SOOOOO after 25 long months, I have my visa in my hot little hands!!!!!!

Hi everyone.

Another day almost gone and no email but I wanted to share something that happened today with you: We practically live on Skype specially during hubby's free days. So today hubby has tried to call NVC many, many times throughout the day at my request but could not get through. And there I was all frustrated, mad and sad when he said: "I wonder why it is always like this.. wait a minute, there must be a lot of husbands calling because they have a nagging wife asking them to call every five seconds!!"

To be honest, that made me laugh and hard!!

I had not noticed how annoying I had been.

God bless him for being patient really... and for putting up with my nagging and rants.
