2)We plan to leave in 5yrs and settle elsewhere when my step son is done with high school.

3)It is the wish of her and family.Wedding are a union of two families and conducted in the woman's church .I already have some relatives in the Us and the engagement was in my country(which is the important part in my culture) does why it would easy and convenient.

Questions 2 and 3 aren't really clear. Why would you leave the US after your wedding? Question 3. A traditional engagement is considered a marriage and if you mention it in the interview more than likely you will be considered married and your petition will be denied.

I proposed to my fiance in Ivory coast in April 2014 while we were on visit which she accepted.I then formally introduced her to my family when we returned Unfortunately there was little tome so she left for home. However my family contact her family to get their support and also sent someone to meet her father in the us in July 2014.After that I sent her the ring in August 2014 to signify the official acceptance. She returned in November 2014 and we had a party with family and a few friends. However we filed in September and now I hve my interview in a month time.I have two worries,I tried visiting in on two occasion in may and june 2014 for B2 visa but denied. In those applications I filed her as my friend. Will that cause my problems in my interview

I definitely wouldn't mention this as it can be a red flag that you are marrying for citizenship and don't plan to establish your domicile in America.

Keep your answers short and to the point. It's important to her that her family is present during the wedding ceremony. Short and simple.

You keep saying engagement! You seriously need to read what I'm saying and listen to the advice! Not to insult your intelligence but one of the fundamental parts of this process is reading and following directions.

I am a little confuse with what to say for question 2 if I should be asked since you think my response is a would raise red flag.

The purpose of going through the process is to marry and establish a domicile in the USA. If you mention Canada it will seem as if you are seeking a green card to have the ability to move elsewhere. Or if you plan to go back home you are seeking the benefit of a green card to work in America so that you can save up enough money to go back home. The CO will question this.

You also need to focus on questions about your relationship and facts about your fiance.

Those attempts at obtaining a tourist visa will have no impact on other immigrant visas you may seek.

More than likely you'll be asked for her address, where does she work, what are the names of her parents and siblings, how did you meet, what's her birthday, When do you plan to travel. is she divorced, does she have any kids, what's her full name, spell the full name, etc. you can browse the forum for more questions.
