I went to my interview today with my husband for my AOS... The interviewer was nice. He asked few questions to me and to my husband (just basic questions). When he asked us about documents to prove that me and my husband are living together, I only gave him the joint federal tax return and pictures from wedding and tour and my facebook account showing my status (that I'm married to my husband), some pictures that I posted during our wedding and tour (on my phone, hahahha).. Well that's all I have. My husband can't get me a bank account or add me to his account because I don't have ID with my married name (bank sucks!).. We even don't have rent/lease agreement because we are living with my husband's friend and all the bills that we have is on my husband's name.

So, the interviewer told us that they will review our case since we have a slim documents to prove our relationship. Then he gave me the Notice of Interview Results with the reason of "Your case is being held for review. At this time, USCIS does not require any further information or documents from you. Should further information or documents be required, you will receive a notice in the mail. We may also schedule you for another interview, you will receive a notice in the mail. Otherwise, a final decision will be mailed once your case is complete.".. He also said that if I received my card on the mail I need to file I-751 form 90 days before my conditional residence expires.

We went home clueless... -_- ...

So now I checked the USCIS website and it says "Card was Ordered to be Produced"....

Does it mean that we need to celebrate because we got approved??

Yes, it means that you got APPROVED, it is time to celebrate! :D

Congratulations! :energy:

Are you sure YouAndMeForever? I'm understanding that their case is still very much in review. If the USCIS review and approve they will send the GC, but if they don't another interview will be scheduled. In my interview they gave us a pretty clear answer when it was approved.

Please correct me if I'm totally wrong, since I know the nervousness they must be going through.

Good luck with everything guys!

Head on over to Love Marry Stay to read my ebook

The definitive guide to falling in love, marrying and staying in the U.S.A

This ebook details every stage of the visa journey, every form that needs to be filled out, signed and filed. I tried to answer every question I may have asked on this journey no matter how glaringly obvious it may be. I wanted to gather all the good information dispersed among the misinformation into one simple guide.

It means approval. "Card Was Ordered To Be Produced" case status means that the greencard is soon to be in production. This status changes in a couple days to "Card Was Mailed". It is not uncommon at all that a couple doesn't get approved on spot but only a few hours (or days) later.

Congratulation, mine was the same (omg I can't believe I've been a legal resident for a month now)...the day after the interview my status changed to card in production (if you think about it, they don't produce cards for denied cases right? So be happy about it and celebrate;)

Me and my husband are sooo happy...... I was nervous yesterday when the IO told us that we have a "slim" documentation of bonafide relationship.... Before he conduct the interview, he said that the person who suppose to do the interview was not feeling well so he took over... After few questions, he told us that he needs to consult our case with their supervisor because I only have pictures and the joint tax return...

:)

Thanks to all of you!!!..
