I find it interesting that they list Karachi then. They've been issuing passports for a week now, so Karachi should have been online a week ago. You'd think Islamabad would have a higher workload though

Approximately 50000 interviews are held at all US Embassies around the world...but all interviews aren't approved....according to my experience at my own interview i can guess the islamabad embassy daily work load would be 500-800 interviews....it is not a big embassy....usually everything like finger print, document submission and even interview is held just like u r paying electricity bill in post office or bank.....even interview is held in standing position :):):) ....so i thought they first connected high work load embassies like beijing who issued 15000 visas yesterday....and i hope islamabad embassy would be connected tomorrow...In Sha Allah.

I couldn't attach the link yesterday, so here it is: http://travel.state.gov/content/travel/english/news/technological-systems-issue.html

Hopefully we get an update this week or next. At this rate, I am sure we will get AP, just to wait for the backlog to clear!

Yeah I think there was only one on the list. And just a heads up. My fiancé waited a couple days after he got the letter to schedule the medical and then told him he couldn't do it because it has to be done at least two weeks in advance of the interview. He ended up having to go to Islamabad for the medical also. I would definitely recommend keeping this in mind when you get ready for the medical.

Thanks for your info. I really appreciate. but I tried to find the updated list, i finally found this list on the embassy website. It was updated on 06/2015. this is the link .

there are two hospitals in karachi as this list shows, check it.
