There's a question that asks you if you were ever arrested/detained/cited. If this ticket was an official citation (not a warning) by a police officer, then you should list it here.

This won't affect your naturalization, but sometimes when USCIS looks at your record, they'll see a record of an incident. They do not always have all the information on hand at your interview and if they don't they won't be able to approve you right away. If you have evidence of what the incident was and that it has been settled, they'll be able to approve you at the interview.

Someone posted on here recently that their interviewer looked at his computer and found something in the applicant's record. The interviewer asked a supervisor to come in and check and after a few minutes the supervisor was able to determine that it was a traffic ticket and not a big deal. At more crowded offices, the interviewer would probably have just delayed the decision and looked into the record later.
