Any idea? Is it okay to keep blank spaces in N400 form instead of filling with N/A where not applicable

N400 form, first page, first line under the boxes tells you to write N/A when a question is not applicable or if the answer is "none".

The form won't let you type a slash "/" and if you type NA, the form thinks that your answer is NA... someone recently typed "None" for a middle name and was surprised to find "None" listed as the middle name on the biometrics appointment letter. You don't want them to think your answer is actually "NA"

So here's what I would do: fill out the form and leave those questions blank, then use a black pen to neatly write N/A in all the blank spaces.
