My Mom just arrived in US yesterday via B1 visa (5/24/2015) and this morning (Memorial Day 5/25/2015) I got an email from NVC stated :

"All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified."

So far we didn't get the date yet, probably soon. I heard in this case instead of postpone the interview until when she come back to Saigon, Vietnam, we can try have the interview in US instead of going back to Vietnam, not sure how it work and what procedure that I have to do, please help. Thanks !

Note: she's currently in US via B1 visa (her 4th time since 2007)

When is she due to go home?

Do you really mean B1?

It takes forever to schedule interview in Saigon. If you want to adjust her status here in the States, you need to call NVC asap and let them know your mom here so they can forward her file back to USCIS. Then you can file her I-485 along with I-130 NOA to have her interview here.
