Hi everyone I have a question about our noa 2. Just received the hard copy and notice that they added a (N) to my husbands name as his middle initial which he has no middle name. On the petition I put N/A. Can this be corrected at this point going to the NVC?

n/a on the petition wasn't correct. ~~None~~ or leaving it blank would have been correct. I would make sure you correct this with the NVC when the file reaches them. Do not add a middle name for any other forms.

Thank you I will send a note of explanation at NVC stage. I thought I could put N/A as acceptable answer to this space just not to have blanks on the form. I read somewhere that you should not leave blank spaces so I use None and N/A.

General Instructions of I130

Step 1. Fill Out Form I-130

# 3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. State that an item is not applicable with "N/A." If the answer is none, write "none."

So I was not sure as to which one to put for his middle name, but now looking back on this none would have been best choice.
