Just paid the immigration fee - $165.00 - Usually this helps to get your green card very quick when you arrive to the states.

I want ask you, what kind of method you choosen to make payment for Green card fee?
did they give you any invoice or document to describe green card fee?

Feb 28 2014: NOA 2 Received.

Aug 14 2014 : No Visa available letter

Feb 25 2015: DS 261 Completed

Feb 26 2015: AOS Fee Paid

April 10 2015: IV fee Paid and IV Packet sent

April 11 2015: DS-260 Completed

April 13 2015: Resend I-864 to NVC with Check list and Bar Coded Cover Sheet

April 14 2015: New Scan date Asigned

May 8 2015: E-mail with 2nd Check list, CC but I need new AOS form for interview day, because item missing.

May 14 2015: Case complete by e-mail.

hi guys please i need some help

,I'm a green card holder for 3 years and half i get my green card thru my ex wife she is american woman and we get divorce last year she file for divorce and i did go back to my country and get marred the same year i did file i-130 for my wife February and now i get a letter for interview and i don't know is that normal or something wrong?

Hello Guys my wife went to the interview today the office told my wife I need a joint sponsor because my income is not enough,I can't understand because im making $37k ,according to the 2015 poverty guideline a household of 4 is is $24,250.


What should I do?


Do I have to send my pay stub and my employer letter?


Do I need to get a joint sponsor?


Do the join sponsor has to fill AOS form if yes which one?


If joint sponsor fill the AOS from do they need the original one or copy?


Do joint sponsor need to give copy of his pay stub or what?



Thank you fro answer me guys,the officer did not take nothing from my wife,


I am disappointed :crying: she has to mail the required document to the embassy,God knows how long it gonna take after that :cry:

If they asking for joint sponsor then you should send another I864 filled by joint sponsor. your annual income should be $30312 for family of 4. I think if you have wife and 2 kids immigrating, then you sponsor 2 family members and have joint sponsor sponsor 1 member. This way everyone will be devided and will match poverty guideline unless joint sponsor has more income. After submitting required docs, it should take 2 weeks to get visa.

Thank you Nilx for this information, I got everything and already send it to the embassy now I'm just waiting ,finger crossed hope it doesn't take no more than 2 weeks.
