Hi,

My mother's NVC scan date is 5/5/15. If it goes the 30 day rule, we should hear some positive news in next 10 days. I am planning to go to India to assist my mother's interview (Mumbai consulate told me that I can accompany her into the consulate till the waiting room). We want to avoid interview in July and August as I am helping my daughter to join an out-of-state college.

1. How do we request for postponement of interview ?

2. Do we call NVC or consulate ?

Simple google search gets you this:

http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ivpktfour.html

Thanks for your response. But, the information seems to be outdated as they are still referring to DS230 forms - where as the current form number is DS260.
