i-864 w/joint sponsor question

Hello, I spoke with a rep at NVC and she told me that the tax year 2013 was a must. I don't have that so I decided on a joint sponsor. The joint sponsor will fill out a separate i-864 with all the required income statements. However, my question is, as the petitioner, how do I fill out part 6 sponsor's income and employment of the i-864? Am I supposed to include copies and documentation of my income even though the joint sponsor is taking that responsibility? Thank you.

hi

not anymore, the tax that is a must now is 2014, after April 15th

so If your 2014 tax is over the poverty line and your current income estimated for 2015 is over the poverty guideline you might not need a joint sponsor

but if your income doesn't meet the requirements then you will use the joint sponsor

yes you are required to fill out your current income, send in your taxes if you are working
