I went trought a lot of topics on V'J but never read or heard any Moroccan went trought 2 or 3 years of AP so dont panic at all.

you didn't look very close. Casablanca is one of the most difficult consulates there is. So many couples have been denied, and not just once. Several couples have been denied K-1, then they got married and applied for Cr-1 and denied again. There are 2 couples I know personally who had this happen, one of the couples lives down the street from me. They were denied K-1 after being in AP for almost a year, then they married and their cr-1 was denied. They were sent back to USCIS with NOIR and were finally approved. It took them 4 and a half years. This was 2 years ago.

Hey guys! Issam had a great interview yesterday at the consulate and the officer told him that his visa was approved and to come back to pick up his passport next week. He gave him a claim ticket, so I assume all is well!

It's normal to be in AP for a few months for Egypt. Even if you would have had your medical in time you would likely still be placed in AP

after the interview.

Going through the same thing...So far almost a month. It is taking a toll on my life and relationship. You can call email everyday and still get the same answer.

I am sorry that it is taking a toll on your relationship, our visa journey took 5 years and we were in AP for 16 months and then denied

and had to re file and finally were approved. I want to share one thing whose relationships suffer from AP:

If the beneficiary or the petitioner gets too impatient and starts acting out or makes remarks like 'lets just end it' then by all means

don't coddle them along begging them to stay with you for the long haul because they weren't meant to be with you.

Let them go !

Neither hell nor high water nor AP should determine the depth of love one claims to have but their actions need to walk their

talk and they need to put on their big boy and big girl panties and decide to go through it to the end no matter what, that is called

commitment.

Otherwise, being way too impatient with the relationship due to AP is a huge red flag for challenges

to come once they are here and one has to wonder if it was all about the visa and not a loving relationship.

Having said that, AP is tough because the process is not transparent and no one knows the outcome and yes, it does

cause a tremendous amount of stress but it should not affect any relationship to the point of breaking it up.
