2 weeks and no Packet 4...

Hey guys,

I emailed Packet 3 to the Montreal Consulate on May 4th...and crickets. I'm just concerned because (and I know I shouldn't compare my situation to others) if you look at many other timelines that are similar to mine, everybody receives their Packet 4 within a few days....

So at this point I'm growing worried. And of course there is no phone number or anything to call them, I have emailed them twice and have heard nothing back. I just wanted to know if anybody here had any advice they could give me, or at least tell me if this is normal or not lol.

Thanks!

Are you comparing to other Canadian timelines? Each embassy is different. 2 week turnaround is pretty fast compared to most of what I've seen at various embassies!

Good luck!

I think in general, embassies dont have a set period to process a case, so u shouldnt compare your case to others. An argentinian guy who is in the process for k1 visa sent p3, and one month later he got p4. I expected the same for me, but I got p4 just one week after I sent it.

you just have to be patient and wait.
