NVC told me there would be a letter sent but it sounds like its hit & miss whether they actually do?

Just about managed to work out our timescales for our ideal wedding date next April & time to save more funds!!! It looks like the best time for my medical will be the first week in October!! Geesh it's one thing being delayed by the process but having to have a self-forced delay due to dates & funds will be a nightmare lol ?

Thank you! :) That's crazy that you have to go all the way to France though. I wonder why not Spain? Anyway, I will definitely keep you updated, and best of luck to you too.

Spain would definitely make things easier on us! Not sure exactly why they stopped doing interviews there. At least we will be able to visit Paris! Neither one of us has been there before.

You can start it when you have your NVC case number & save it to submit later.

I've completed mine ready & got it saved for when the packet 3 arrived ?

Thanks. I hope when it comes to packet 3 they send it to the petitioner as well because the mailing system is not the best in Jamaica

So, been avoiding the call to NVC, because we didnt want to hear " we havent received your case please wait xxx days" but we have decided that 19 days after NOA2, should be sufficient, so we are going to call tomorrow. As they would be closed today with it being Memorial day.So with any luck we will have a Case number on Tuesday. Will let you all know and update timeline accordingly. Wish us luck!

Case checker still not working so I've had a play around on the DHL tracking site to see how many petitions are being sent from the NVC to Embassy.

http://www.dhl-usa.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html

To track put in the reference: EXP 21 MAY 2015A (you change the 21 to a date that you want to search). Then change the date range - I used 01 May to today. Then choose the destination.

They send packages individually, they don't send them in a batch so it looks like if yours is ready then it's sent.

There was one sent to London yesterday, it may be mine, who knows?? On average it seems there's one every other day sent to London.

Good morning, what do you put for shippers refrence?? Thank you ?

Hi guys! What can I start doing to prepare for my packet 3? My fiancé is already gathering his evidence for his affidavit of support. I am hoping I can get my police check done this week... what forms can I start working on? Do I need my immunization records at this point? I was reading above that I can start the online application and save it before it's complete as well... I just feel a little lost at this point without given instructions, lol. I want to make myself a little to-do list.

Thanks in advance :)

The answer to your questions varies by country, so you may want to ask again in the regional forums. Someone there should be able to show you a copy of packet 3 for your consulate and tell you what they did to prepare.
