Home > U.S. Tennessee Man Pleads Guilty to Plotting Attack on Muslims

A man who ran for Congress last year in East Tennessee has pleaded guilty to plotting an attack on a small Muslim enclave in New York.

Federal agents began investigating Robert Doggart of Signal Mountain following a Facebook posting in which he claimed a community outside of Hancock, New York, was planning a terrorist attack and "must be utterly destroyed," according to the plea agreement entered last month.

This area is known as "Islamberg," a self-named community consisting primarily of Muslims.

Via cellphone, Doggart also told unnamed people cooperating with the FBI that his plan involved killing residents and burning at least three buildings. He met with at least one source in Nashville.

"Those guys (have) to be killed," Doggart said during one call. "Their buildings need to be burnt down."

During the same call, Doggart told the person on the phone that pistols couldn't be carried from Tennessee to New York because the city doesn't have carry permit reciprocity, but that "AR-15s, M-4s or M-16s" could be brought.

No need to be afraid of old white folk, Marv. This is an outlier. He's probably crazy having spent too much time in his bunker reading Breitbart & Co.

Need to do a head count here, make sure none of our "residents" are missing..

Can you guys imagine how hot this thread would be were the roles reversed and it was a Muslim plotting to burn down whitey's village?

But since the perp was a little old white fella and the targets were just Muslims, it seems it's no big deal.

If this were true, I'd have my VJ membership revoked and the cops would show up here saying I'm a sympathizer. Just glad they caught this dude before he took innocent lives.

Islamberg is a rural hamlet in Hancock, Delaware County, New York,[1] founded by Imam Al Sheik Mubarik Ali Shah Jilani Hashimi, also known as Mubarak Ali Gilani, a Pakistani Sufi cleric, and is a hamlet of The Muslims of America, Inc., a U.S. organization formed in 2013. A documentary video on YouTube purports to show the hamlet itself as well as a network of camps in the United States, and Sheikh Gilani forming the "Soldiers of Allah".[2] This video prompted The Muslims of America to file a federal lawsuit against the video's producer, which was dismissed by the court.[3]

Not sure that's a move up, actually. :P

So I've noticed. I don't know which is worse, the politicians plotting to kill Muslims or the biker gang shoot outs. Maybe I should move...
