Strange thing is, they even removed the sentence " you should receive a decision or case update by May 22, 2015 unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed.." from the My USCIS page.

That was removed from mine, too. Estimated date, gone.

I'm on day 64, as they said they'd get back to me by June 20th. The date came and went, so I called USCIS. The person I got on the phone wouldn't transfer me to a supervisor. They submitted an inquiry on my behalf (pointless as I could have done it myself). The inquiry response I received earlier today said the following:

"Your case is currently under review by an officer. You should receive a decision, correspondence or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience."

They 'appreciate my continued patience'.. I'm sure. Just like the rest of us they keep waiting, we're only dying just for the chance to see our loved ones again. And it's not like they've given us any choice but to be patient. Not like we've got any choice but to sit helpless and confused by their lack of transparency and unreasonably long time frames.

Is there anything I can do at this point? Keep calling and trying to get a supervisor? Sit patiently some more?

Finally got case approval today! After 7 months 17 days, with 70 of those days spent awaiting a response to the RFE!

Sincere hope that others pushing their 60 day mark at NSC will also get their approval soon.
