Anyone have to wait to be contacted?

So right now my fiancé is waiting to be contacted by the embassy to pick up packet 3. It's been one week now since they recieved it and I called the embassy today and the rep said to wait to be contacted as well but that we can still do ds160 and stuff. Anybody else have to wait to be contacted for packet 3? If so how long does it usually take?

I think in Kathmandu, the beneficiary needs to pick up the packet 3. I am being impatient with you too, except I found out today that my embassy probably won't send out the packet 3 and 4. I'm sure your embassy is backlogged with the quakes and had to reschedule a lot of cancelled appointments, so they may be running behind. Just don't give up with pestering them - maybe contacting them every 3rd or 4th day. Keep at it, at least our petitions are at the embassy, so our interviews aren't too far away!!

Yeah it says on the website that the beneficiary will be contacted but nth yet so yeah I'll prob call like every week. I'm not sure if that rep was understanding me.

I think I've read other Nepalese petitioners that have been waiting to hear from the embassy too. Just keep at it.
