Just wondering about how much longer after the i129f is approved til the fiance can enter, assuming there are no problems with the subsequent steps? Curious to hear from those who went through the process. I also know each person's case is different, but i wonder about the overall average time. thanks.

2 months more or less. its the transfer of documents from uscis to nvc and then nvc to the consulate that takes a while. this is assuming everything goes well (little to no AP at nvc stage and you immediately finish medical and get an interview appointment)

IF you are diligent I would say about 30 days after NOA2 you could have your fiancé in the USA.

When NOA2 is approved wait about 5 t0 10 days and get MNL via phone from NVC.

Then do Medical and schedule interview. Be diligent and you can catch a cancelled appointment for the Interview.

Depends upon how fast you get yourself through the NVC. If you are diligent and get things sent in a timely manner you can done within 2 months, if you drag your feet it will be longer.

You should expect it to take anywhere from 1 to 2 months after you receive the NOA2. A lot of the waiting will depend on how fast your approved petition gets to the NVC, and how quickly you can get an interview date at USEM.

Well. its been over a month for me just to see when can my bf schedule an interview. I guess it all depends, I'm waiting on the embassy right now. Once they'll officially "receive" my documents - this is it.

So, it depends how quickly your embassy "receives" documents and how quickly NVC will process you

  • Documents arrived to Russia and can physically schedule an interview - June 3rd, 2015
