Case status error..?

Hello,

my fiance received our NOA1 in mid march, yet every time I try to check our case status (we're at TSC, I know NOA2 will take way longer but I want to check if everything is ok), the site gives me this error message,

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

• At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

Is this normal so early (2 months) in the process? should I do something?

I have the same question! My NOA1 was March 19 and I was able to see online that it said case was received. April 3 my lawyer sent an expedite request and since then I see the same error message, but I made an account online and I can see that the case was last updated on April 7.

Does anyone have any input? Thoughts? Advice? Experience? Thanks so much

Thank you, I called them, it says "status for this receipt number can not be found at this time in this system." :/

It happens. Possibly someone just forgot to scan a barcode on your application. You got your NOA1, so you are in their system. I had the same thing happen to me during my AOS. The system showed me the error code until the very day that my AOS got approved, when it simply changed from "Cannot be found" to "approved". If you are really worried though, you can always call and try to talk to a Tier-2.

I've been having the same exact problem. They recieved my info on April 1st. Still to today, it's the same error message you get, when I call and enter my number, they can't locate me. I finally talked to someone today, she told me I need to give it 30-45 days (reg days not business days), if by that time it's saying the samething, they will look into it further.

My lawyer told me it's normal.

We are having the same problem and USCIS told us to wait 30-45 days and they couldn't find us in system. It we have an NOA1 so we are in the system. It does seem to be a system error as I checked up to 20 receipt numbers before us, and it stops suddenly about 20 numbers short of ours. And no number after outs seems to work. We hope to receive NOA2 within the next 7-10 days.
