I-485 progress

5 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I received a RFE and responded around Mid-March. I also got my EAD card last April.

However my I-485 still stuck in "RFE received" and I also made inquiry with uscis.

They said it depends on the local office. There's nothing they can do.

What do you guys think? Should I just wait or make an info pass with my local office. Well, at least they should have changed it to "Ready to be scheduled for interview" or sth.

Thanks!!!

@NancyNguyen: this is my current status of form I-485: "On March 13, 2015, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status,Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. You should receive a decision or case update by May 12, 2015, unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed."

So this is over 2 months. Should I be worried or just wait?

Nathan, I have been posting a weekly update in the February group sub-forum.

Have you been looking at it and comparing your progress with others who filed before you in February?
