Trouble scheduling Vancouver K-1 interview: website

Hello, Visa Journey community!

Has anyone else experienced difficulty using the website to schedule their K-1 interview at the Vancouver consulate? When I get to the part of the website where I am supposed to schedule the interview, I see only Montreal as an option (screenshot attached) and don't see Vancouver at all. However, immediately after I paid my fee through the website, I saw a page that indicated that the earliest interview in Montreal is June 10 and the earliest one in Vancouver is June 30, which suggests to me that I have not made any error in how I set up my account, since the website knows that Vancouver is a possible location for this kind of visa interview.

I am supposed to interview in Vancouver (I live in Alberta). I have received instructions from the Vancouver consulate, including packets 3 and 4. I emailed the consulate with this problem, and the response was that I should be able to make this appointment and that I "must have clicked something wrong". I also asked the consulate if the problem was that my case number starts with MTL (case was accidentally sent to Montreal first), and the reply was no.

I have also now phoned the Vancouver booking number twice (and the Calgary one once), and the people I spoke to also do not see Vancouver as an option on my account (only Montreal).

I emailed tech support yesterday, and this morning received an automated reply that "If the post location you wish to schedule with is not available for your visa type it is because that post does not accept scheduling for that visa category." I have emailed the consulate again, asking them (on the suggestion of one of the phone reps) to double check the information that they have for me.

Any help that anyone could give me would be much appreciated. I can't believe that this is the snag that I have hit in the process.

Thank you.

Just a quick update. The Vancouver consulate got the "system folks" to look at my account and the problem was fixed, a whole two weeks after I encountered the issue. I still don't know what the problem was.

Hey!

I'm also going to be interviewing at Vancouver. Have you had your interview yet, and if so, would you care to share your experience? I'm just leaving the NVC at this point, so I don't know what to expect from here on out!
