06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Let me see if I understand this. You came here on a K1 visa, not married yet, and your only ID (your passport) is lost so you cant get a marriage license, thus can't get married? When did you arrive? I'm sure your fiance can go on leave to help you with this. Otherwise, going through the whole K1 process is moot. Are you telling me your fiance brought you out here and cant even give you money to process something as important as this?

Ok so you still have +- 74 days left to get married. Plenty of time to fix it. Not sure if they will accept your SSN. As far as I know, they need an ID that shows your name, your picture, and your birthday. You have plenty of time to sort this problem out. Tell your fiance that he needs to take time off from work and fix this problem.

What i don't understand apple21 is the way how you worded your words is even worst than someone who don't even suffer financially geezer do you have perfect lifee coming here . I came on this sites for insights and help that someone one out here can provide theI experience and provide encouragement to someone who happened to have this kind of unexpected situation to them may these serve as a warning to everyone that you posted for a help but instead you get a sarcastic comment like apple21 who seems to never have a hard time reaching usa.

Apple's title does say she doesn't sugarcoat  I'm sure she's not trying to be sarcastic or mean. She's just stating a fact that your fiance needs to help you out with this. Because if he doesn't, bringing you over to the US and plucking you away from your family would be pointless.

Anyway, if your fiance cant get time off from work, he really needs to give you transpo money to process this yourself. I'm sorry your passport got stolen. No one deserves this much trouble specially when they should be excitedly planning for their wedding instead.

You filed a police report. Good

You need to get a replacement from the PHL Consulate responsible for your area.

You also should inform USCIS of your situation.

I agree with apple21, this is very important and your fiance needs to help you with this either by bringing you where you need to be or to shell out for public transportation. If anything, this current situation you're in needs more attention than the original K-1 visa process. The consequences of not addressing this situation are not being able to get married and being out of status.

You shouldn't be starting from scratch, if anything the visa process was supposed to weed out people unable to provide/support intending immigrants and becoming burdens on the State.

This is very important. The person you are marrying needs to be more concerned and supportive of you in your current situation. You shouldn't be relying on the kindness and compassion of complete strangers on the Internet for rides to the Police Station.
