Have you followed the dvselectee website to the civil documents section and read the "reciprocity by country" link for Saudi Arabia?

You can request the police report from Saudi Arabia High commission of Sri Lanka - Colombo. Police report valid only for 6 months. What is your CN? You try to request just before 4 month from you case being current.

Ok so...you should have found this page by following the links from your selection letter. Please, please ensure you read that website and all the relevant page links for you properly to ensure you have everything you need to get your visa. You may miss something crucial if you don't read those pages thoroughly.

hi saman, if you are still in saudi u can ask US embasy in saudi, mostly in arabic country to get police record little bit difficult,

i had experience and i am on dv too, my wife has been there in saudi for 8 years working in hospital, when we had interview in embassy kuwait, my wife did not bring and even did not prepare police records from saudi,

CO was asking to my wife,

CO : u have been there in saudi,

wife: yes

CO: u should have police record from saudi

wife; (not answering)

CO: checking in computer, and CO : clarify his statement, his statement is "ok no need police record from saudi".

this is my opinion, i guess all people who has been in GCC country no need for Police record from them. CMIIW

good luck

Thank you !! I tried many ways, even calling to Saudi Embassy in Sri Lanka, they do not have any idea, and contacted Saudi Police, they never speak single word in English,

Anyway thank you for sharing information.

Really appreciate your help.

So rather than do all that, all you had to do was look at the page links I mentioned earlier which tell you that non-Saudi nationals residing outside KSA cannot get police certificates.... http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country/SA.html#policerecords-2

I'm not saying this to be nasty. I'm saying it because you clearly haven't read the links yet, which means there could be something important that you've missed. Every year people get denied because they didn't bother to read the linked websites properly. Please don't be one of those.
