Translated vaccinations documents for medical?

Hey guys,

I have the translation of my vaccinations records finalized which I can print now. But the original hard copies will take at least 5 workings days to arrive.

Has any of you had to present the original hard copies from the translation company at the medical or a copy was fine?

Thanks for your advice

If your medical is in the same country as your vaccination records then you don't need them translated. E.g. if you're vaccinations are from China and your medical and interview will be in China, no need to do any translations, just bring your vaccination record in the original language to the medical.

Hi Mallafri76,

No, my vaccination records is not in the country of the interview. I have had them translated which is fine :)

I'm just not sure whether the medical center needs to see the original hard copies (always better I know ) or as far as I can show them at any given time once received from the translation company, it will be acceptable.

I'm contacting the medical center to double check this info as well. Just checking if any of you guys has the same situation.

I'll post my findings so it can be useful for others :)

Thanks

Bad example, document translations are required at the consular phase of the process in China. Despite what the NVC pages say about no translations needed if the document is in the official language of the country, document translation requirements are country specific which is why one needs to find out from the Embassy/Consulate what their requirements are.
