Hello all,

I have just recently petitioned i130 for my alien spouse on the 22nd of May '15. Due to Memorial Day weekend it arrived at Chicago Lockbox on the 27th and I received my NOA 1 text message on the 29th. It was indicated that my petition has been accepted and is now being routed to Texas Service Center for processing. My wife and I are keeping very positive about the length of processing times and hoping for it all to be approved soon. I have been very consistent and persistent on finding more information on TSC processing times and read some bad reviews on this forum. Of course, I would have loved for my case to be sent to VSC which is taking approx. 2 months of time for NOA 2. I really wish you all the best of luck on this journey.

Any updates on current Texas Service Center processing times? A feed back from filer would be best appreciated as I know USCIS website says 5 months.

And no I don't drive Uber.

Yes, same here. Takes about a week after you receive your NOA1 for them to update their system that is why you don't see it there.

Hi guys,

Please I got NOA1 on 5/26 and since then I've not been able to check my case status on the uscis website.Whenever I type in my receipt number,i get this prompt that my receipt number cannot be recognized. Did anybody experience this?

And no I don't drive Uber.

My wife and I are hoping and praying that this is a smooth and quick process us and everyone in the same situation.

I mailed it in by FEDEX overnight but unfortunately due to Memorial weekend it took a week to get there. Keep in mind to mail through express mail there is a different Chicago Lockbox address.

Interesting... I wonder are processing times different between applications sent to the express mail address vs the P.O. box?

No, not yet

I'm thinking maybe in the weekend?

How did you send your packet? What does your estimated time of delivery say?

I just received our NOA1 email notification this evening. They have routed our case to the California Service Center. I should get the hard copy in 7-10 days.

Hey that's great! Apparently California Service Center is the fastest in processing Visas at the moment compared to the rest of the Service Centers ☺☺
