Hi , I know that you are allowed to travel with expired GC and NOA while waiting for I-751 but when I researched I found back 2011 comments so is it still same or is there any change with rules and law ? Also is there any other information that I need to know before I travel ? And as last question , will I have any trouble when I have multiple times travel ? Like after USA I ll have to stop in Germany or France airport before I go to my country.

Timeline

My wife and I successfully took a day trip to Canada a few months ago. We took our passports, a copy of our marriage license, her expired GC, the original I-797 (NOA1) ROC receipt- extension letter (placed in a plastic page saver sleeve). We had no issues going to Canada or returning to the US.

YMMV,

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
