Is a letter of an employer stating your job a must for proof of income or is a W2 tax returns and pay stubs enough??

It's so confusing I've been reading lot's of different posts in regards to this and there are so many different answers :huh2:

Can you explain a bit more - your fiance is your financial sponsor? Is it a new job?

If it's not a brand-new job and he has W2s/tax return or a tax transcript showing sufficient income, that's all you need.

London is relatively easy.

They don't require more than one proof.

I only gave in the support form and w2s.

Letter from employer is not needed. I did not use one. just use tax transcripts ( with transcripts no W-2 or needed) and about 5 months of paychecks stubs

My job is fairly new I have only been there about 8 months now

The instructions state if want to you can included an employment letter with income and or pay check stubs

If you read replies from anybody other than K1s who have been through London, then you will get confusing answers. Each consulate is different in what it takes to make them happy. Even general VJ guidelines are covering the worst case embassy in the entire world. London does not have any absolutely required proof for a K1, as long as you can prove the income.
