Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me with a few certains and questions..

My aunt owns a restaurant in the US and she wanted to petition for a few people (families ) that livea in jamaica to come and work in the restaurant. ..what are the forms ,documents and requirements to go about doing that?

And what is the process like..does a visa like this take long to process ?

I met a chef that came over on a L, but the usual visa would be H1b

I don't think the H1-B will work for all because you the position must require at least higher education, equivalent experience or to be a fashion model. I don't think there is a visa that would work here, but maybe someone will come along and help you out.

Chefs have higher education.

If OP's aunt is planning to bring family members that are qualified chefs to work in the restaurant, she can use H1-Bs.

A established business showing all tax paid & insurances

Cannot find an employee in the US (maybe one expert chef at JA cooking) could fly, not a few

H1B requires high educational standard ( Ask an atty about work visa),

The company will need an atty to deal with the labor dept...can be very expensive
