Question about fee bills on NBC

2 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

Around 2 weeks ago a friend of mine paid her AOS which is 120.00 and also prepared the online choice of address and agent but the IV fee is not there yet for her to pay. Does anyone knows how long is taking for the IV fee to show up??

Thank you very much

The DS-261 has to be reviewed by an agent at the NVC before the IV bill is invoiced. This can take up to 30 calendar days. You can speed up the process by calling the NVC and requesting an agent to review it with you over the phone, but not all agents are willing/know how to do this. Sometimes you'll have to call back a few times to find someone who can help you do it.

After the DS-261 is reviewed there is a delay before the IV bill is invoiced, usually about 3 days.
