Hi,

Any luck with this? I have the same problem. I got the email confirmation from NVC for my Dad's I-130 approval but when I log in to the website its giving me the same exact message:

"Sign In Failed
The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered do not match our records. Please try again or click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you have forgotten your Case Number or Invoice Identification Number."

Hello cheep-cheep. Nothing yet ? will be giving NVC another ring and hopes this issue will resolve within this week. I wonder what's up with their designation of case numbers. It seems like alot of us is experiencing this error ???

I am still getting the same error message as well. When I called up on Friday they wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor (saying everyone was too busy), but the person I spoke with had no clue why this was happening and said their supervisor said because the case was so new I needed to wait 3-5 business days to allow the system to catch up. Seems really strange as the letter should mean that the case and invoice ID are in the system. When I asked about this, again, they said they didn't know why. So frustrating...

Let me know if you're able to get in this week. I'll be calling back on Thursday if nothing changes.

Hello again acnobile. We called up on Friday and that's when the rep herself said she was gonna tell a supervisor. My wife was put on hold for like 2 minutes while the rep was speaking to the supervisor. We were told to wait for 2-4 days. My wife called again just a few hours ago and she requested to speak to a supervisor since the prob hasn't resolved. The rep denied the request because it showed on her computer that a supervisor was already notified on May 8 and said just to wait 2-4 days, usually shorter than this, for the supervisor to work on it. I guess today is day 1. Just keep calling til you get a rep that will tell a supervisor or allow you to talk to one.

Also, best time to call for a supervisor is 7am or 11pm Easternt time. That's according to what another VJ member told me. It seems to be working every time we call

Im having the same problem. Could not fill up the form. This message appears:

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance.

Additional info: The date on the letter says May 8, 2015. My husband got the letter in mail today May 12, 2015 (U.S. timezone) but it didn't work. Its been 4 days since the letter was made. I'm thinking i'll try filling it up again on Friday May 15, 2015, that makes it 7 days from the date on the letter. I guess I'll just wait a few days as well. Anyway, thanks for all the thoughts, suggestions and updates, it feels good to know we're not alone on this boat.

I think the only thing we can do is keep calling them so they'll know just how rampant this problem is becoming -_-

Most representatives will shrug it off and say to wait a week or so. Me and perhaps a few others have been waiting for almost 2 weeks. This doesn't seem like a normal delay. There must be something wrong with the system for those who were inputted into the system recently.

So my wife called again about an hour ago. The rep said that it's a system malfunction issue and there's no way they can help us out at this time. We just have to wait. Lucky us :(

The three numbers after the 2015 is the julian date it was assigned plus 500. So if yours is 621, then 621-500=121, and the julian date 121 is April 30. So your case was assigned April 30. Your friends was assigned April 22.

The last three digits are the number that was assigned that day. So if yours is 2015621150 (for example), then it was assigned on April 30 and it was the 150th case to be assigned that day.

Hi anhakeem,

If you couldn't log in initially, I'm assuming you haven't been able to select an agent yet. When I asked a rep they told me your payments won't be accepted (even if you mail them in) if you haven't officially selected an agent as your first step, which can only be done in the portal. So I would wait for the site.
