Advance Parole timeline - please help

Hello everyone,

I looked up for this topic but they were all old, and I need updated information.

Last Friday (05/01) I had my appointment to get my fingerprints and picture, I asked the lady about my Advance Parole (on the I-797 they just stated my I485 and I765) and she said I should call the 1-800 number. I just did and the machine wasn't helpful - it just said that they received my application on March 23rd and that I should wait.

The thing is, I have my wedding planned in my home country on May 30th - I need to know if I'll get my advance parole by then, I need to start paying the vendors and I don't want to lose money in case I don't make it.

Should I schedule a InfoPass?

sorry to say, but,it doesn't look good for receiving AP in time, ours took a little under 3 months to receive, U.S.C.I.S. will not expedite based on marriage plans.

Ooh, May 30th is cutting it a little too close. I got mine in 84 days, some get it in 90. Try to ask for an expedite anyway, maybe since your AP application is close to 90 days they might feel nice and give you an expedite anyway. Nothing to lose from trying. But be prepared for plan B (moving your May 30th ceremony). Realistically, this is most likely what will happen.

Add about 75 to 90 to March 23rd and you get the picture.

I would move the wedding plan out by at least 2 months to be on the safe side.
