Sending Document to NVC - Help

Hey Guys

We are about to send document to NVC. Need some helps folks.

1. NVC wants tax transcript for AOS. But also asked the actual tax form (We already have 2014 tax transcript. Also we have copy of tax form too). Confused. Which one to send ?

2. It also talks about W2. Do we have to send W2 to NVC? Ain't that W2 to be brought at Interview?

With Side loading of evidence, Our paper work for NVC is 313 Pages without tax form and W2. And we are sending IV and AOS together. Is there any specific format or style to send all these paper ? (Has anyone made video of it?)

we have AOS Packet Clipped together, And IV packet clipped together and couple of bunch of evidence. We plan to find a big enough box to fit all these paper together and mail it. Any advise guys ??

Hi send in your w2 forms along with your tax returns and if you have schedules also. you already have transcripts all you have to do it send in the w2 forms along with those..as far as the aos and iv documents go you can put them in separate envelopes and write aos on one an iv packet on one and put both in one big envelope and send it off ,that's how I did mine.Hope this helps a little

Im in the same situation , so let me tell you what i think based on what i got from experienced people

You need to send your Wage and Income Transcript for 2014 , you can also attached your W2 with it

Note : all those documents you can print them out online through http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

The above answer is not entirely right. If sending in a tax transcript you only need the transcript nothing else with it no w-2 or any other forms.

If sending in a copy of tax return then you will need to send in copies of w-2 and anything else file

you stated you have tax transcript you should send that

all I sent for my AOS was the 864 form and tax transcripts and some paycheck stubs for proof of income .

I just sent in the basic requirement for the IV package and no extra proof to nvc

A tax form is a form any one can fill out and put any number in without the w-2 the nvc has no way to know if that is the correct amount. So the w-2 is needed for proof

Just to add even thou I did not send any extra evidence to the NVC there is nothing wrong with sending additional evidence to the NVC. However over 300 pages is overkill. Will you want to be the agent that has to sort thru all that.

when you re saying a tax transcript , what you mean exactly by that as i tried to get it online and i got 4 different types

Account Transcript , Return Transcript , Wage & Income Transcript, Record of Account Transcript

i was told to send Wage & Income Transcript which has all required information needed by the NVC

I use the tax return transcript as it shows everything that was file on a tax return Wage and income return show income that was reported Either one should work but with either one a copy of the w-2 is not needed

Transcript Types Get Transcript Online Get Transcript by Mail

Tax Return Transcript - shows most line items from your tax return (Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ) as it was originally filed, including any accompanying forms and schedules. This transcript doesn’t show account changes made after the return is processed. A return transcript usually meets the requirements of lending institutions offering mortgages and student loans.

Tax Account Transcript - shows basic data including return type, marital status, adjusted gross income, taxable income, credits and payments. It also shows adjustments made by you or the IRS after you filed the return. This letter doesn’t address whether you, the taxpayer, are required to file a tax return for a given tax year. A taxpayer may fail to file a tax return even though he/she is required to do so.
