I am at the part of the DS-160 form that requires you to upload a photo of yourself to the specifications they have asked for.

How am I supposed to do that?

Where do I get a photo with those specifications from?

I know Australia post does passport photos, but they are in printed form, not digital.

Help!

I just got my sister to take a photo of me passport style with my digital camera (the better quality the better, so a digital camera over your phone). They have an editor on the site so you can cut the photo to what you need. I hope that helps.

Hi, I went to Ted's cameras and ask for US sized passport photos.

They gave me the printed photos but also put them onto a disk for me.

Im still waiting for NVC to receive my application before i do my DS-160 but i uploaded the pics to the test photo uploader and the seemed fine :)

If there's not a Teds Cameras near you I've had passport photos uploaded onto a disk for me at other camera stores as well so maybe just call around a few stores and see if anyone will do it in the correct dimensions for you .

Hope this helps!

I was just searching and came across this thread.

When I tested my photo it said it was fine, then when I was doing the proper filling out the form, I tried the photo and it wouldn't take it.

So it said I can just bring one to the interview. Does that then mean I need three for the interview instead of 2 - or do they include the ds 160 photo as part of the 2 needed?

I tried to scan and upload my passport photo.. Didn't work.

So I took a selfie at my desk with my iphone - for some reason that was accepted.

Weird! Probably the only time i've laughed in this whole process :)
