Ah ok, so the envelope comes with the passport via Pony Express then? Interesting, I didn't know that nor was Elena informed of that. She was given a copy of the CD with her x-ray on it, but I suspect that there will be an additional one in this yellow envelope thing.

Very curious as to why your tourist visa wasn't canceled but Elena's was. I've ready every where else that the beneficiary's tourist visa was canceled too. 'Guess it depends on the CO who does the interview...I agree, it doesn't matter once you adjust, it's just a curiosity/completeness thing that my engineering mind addresses automatically. lol

As for the delivery, did Pony Express actually bring it to your apartment? Elena told me that when she received her tourist visa, that Pony Express simply called her and told her to pick it up at their office. We're considering traveling to see her mother and naturally I'm concerned as to what would happen if they attempted delivery when we were absent.

in ds 160

we choose the PICK UP from post (pony express) office section and it gave us available pony express branches in the area. do you remember what you did on that section?

John,

Tried to call you the other day to see how it's going but the number didn't work.

You got off better than I did, I was somewhere in the $290 range. In the end, I just gave up on it. Hell, if they wanna charge me an extra $30 to get my family home, whatever. Those greedy ****** can have their $30.

Yes. Give me a call if you're in Moscow John.

Also please note that they likely won't even bother looking at your new pictures. They didn't look at any of the on-going evidence we had ready. FYI

Yeah here is the link to the K1 interview checklist: http://moscow.usembassy.gov/iv-fiancee.html

Where did you get this information about the technical issues? I've been monitoring the state department's website daily and so far as I can tell Moscow has been on the list of "connected posts" since Monday or Tuesday. Anyway it's beyond annoying. I check my CEAC status daily and I'm STILL in AP with both dates (case creation and status update) set to 6/24. Issue the damned visa already and get it to us! :D

Being self employed might add a wrinkle to things, but then again maybe not. Dunno, I work for a company. As per the checklist, I submitted the following:

1) I-134

2) Bank statements (went back 5 years, but that's probably overkill)

3) Employment letter

4) Tax returns and W2s for the past 3 years (it only says 1, therefore 3 is probably overkill too, but what the heck, I did it anyway, nothing to hide)

here you go

http://moscow.usembassy.gov/pr-visa-problems-resolved-06252015.html

they dont ask for any ownership of a company paper anywhere :) so...

Ah ok, thanks. It says that they printed 1800 visas yesterday. Hopefully mine was one of them, but who knows.

Ownership of a company? Eh, I think you must have paperwork on that somewhere, so provide that and it should be more than enough.
