The Birth Certificate we submitted is issued by the proper authority. We've also used these documents in the past for another visa as well as for the local embassy. It's also the same authority which is required for CR-1. Police certificate is not required... I'm surprised we didn't get a checklist for that as well ???

We're going to wait for the supervisory review to be completed before we send anything out because we know we're right.

Whatever you decide to do i wish you good luck and a speedy case complete. Hopefully all will work out for its best.

I agree with robine, the OP.,.,.USCIS/NVC are as inept and dysfunctional as the people supposedly running this country, which is in the "worst conditions of all time".,.,.,finically and dealing

with different ethnic groups, and this country does not belong to the American people anymore, we belong to China..,.for example just bought "Smithfield Hams and Meats" for 8 billion dollars!

In a few years the Chinese will be running this govt...,.,,.

Without getting into the politics of all this, the primary reason USCIS\NVC appear inept is due to the time needed to go over ALL petitions, and weed out incomplete\fraudulent ones to the best of their ability. Remember, they have to scrutinize documents issued by over a 100 countries. Does USCIS or NVS make mistakes? Sure! Do some petitioners or beneficiaries game the system? Damn yeah!

So, cut USCIS\NVC some slack. They may not be everyone’s favorite here, but they are doing the best they can in these tight budgetary times. I’m not defending their perceived ineptitude or dysfunctionality, but am trying to be realistic.

It’s practically become a parlor game for some to criticize an agency.. while enjoying it's benefits.

Oh btw, OP, whatever emoticon you're using is just showing up as a box for the rest of us, especially those on a PC. Just thought I'd let ya know.
