Called NVC and was told my wife's interview is on June 3, which coincidentally is 365 days exactly from our NOA1 date - the day USCIS received our I-130. :dancing:

I know my wife would be interested in meeting anyone else who has an interview the week of June 1 to June 5, as she goes to the medical appts and waits for the final interview. She will be flying in from Cali.

I believe it takes up to a week to receive the email. Not sure if the embassy needs to receive the package from NVC, or not, before the email is sent out. One of the key things you're going to want to do is make a doctor's appointment and a laboratory appointment (blood draw) for the day(s) before your interview. Once again, VisaJourney to the rescue as they have much of this information outlined here:

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Colombia&cty=Bogota

There's a list of 3 doctors and 1 laboratory on this page. Note: it could be somewhat out of date so you'll want to ask them if their services still qualify as certified for purposes of immigration. Also, I know there are many vaccinations required and I don't know if you have to have them in Bogota or if you can take care of that ahead of time. The email is likely to either have an up to date list of medical providers or a link to such.

Probably best to call for appointments on Monday as today is a holiday.

My wife called one of the doctors and the laboratory from the list on the linked embassy page and was able to get appointments for the Monday before her interview on Weds, 5 June. Now all we need is the interview confirmation email, confirmation of the NVC application shipment to Bogota, flights, hotels and some calm nerves for 30 days, and we're set.
