On Feb 9 2015 we recieved our receipt stating they got our I-129f, however they spelt applicants name wrongly. So we called the service center immediately and the lady says she'll get the named fixed and it should take a maximum of a month to adjust. She said also that it's up to them whether you'll recieve a new receipt number and whatnot, I presumed all has been going well. I've recently had a trip or 2, and to my shock (It's currently April 29 2014) I logged on to check case status and it still says "Case has been Recieved". That's all. 3 months since ad we have no progress apparently.. Is this the case? I'm beginning to panic a bit, and would like to know if this is normal or of i should take some sort of action. I'll call the service center when customer service reps are available. Any advice or knowledge about this subject?

I understand, thanks for the help! I was just surprised! It seemed like some people get lucky and manage quick times and other get stuck with a long wait. I thought I had a pretty quick case, as some countries seem to go by quicker than others and at the time I sent it in, processing times seemed good as far as I could remember. Oh well, 3 months down atleast..

The cases you see moving fast are generally 1) being processed at CSC. 2) cases auto expedited because the beneficiary is from the Philippines 3) expedited for other reasons

Normal TSC petitions are taking a LONG time to process, the USCIS goal is 5 months, TSC is over this time

Vermont is no longer processing I-129Fs. Prior to March 27th, cases were routed to TSC or CSC based on the sate of the petitioner - rougly, East Coast went to TSC, West Coast to CSC. As of March 27th all new cases go to CSC to ease the backlog at TSC. Sadly, this has had no impact on TSC approval of those of us unlucky enough to be stuck there.

I don't know about this, I'm beneficiary from Philippines got the notice date of NOA1 March 12, and last update of our case status was March 17. I still haven't see any changes it just a blank message when I logged in and error messages when I just check it direct. We are already waiting 49 days from the Notice date, unlike the other March filers later than our date already got approved or got a RFE.

Okko even if Vermont was processing don't know that you'd have any better luck. When my fiancé and I filed the first time it went to Vermont and I was in TX. It took Vermont 7 months to approve the I129F Petition... So they were just as slow as TX seems to be. I got blessed with this filing and it went to California.. The waiting is maddening, definitely tries your patience, and I didn't have a lot of those to begin with. LOL

Stay positive!!! :-)
