Going back through this I see you think they have passed all the background checks. This is absolutely not correct. The embassy will conduct background checks on them prior to issuing the visa. If they find out anyone lied on any of the paperwork the entire family could be slapped with misrepresentation and banned for life. If you participate you could lose your LPR status and be deported.

Been a few years but he was in background checks for over 1 year. Part had to do with his having a common name and part with his travel in Europe in 2001. For females it is usually quicker. I guess they are hoping no one will check Mom's travel records to see she is not living in the U.S. and no one will check to see if the sister is married. Her ID card may say single but there will be records somewhere.

Which embassy will they interview at?
