Iran seizes U.S. ship, 34 sailors

Iran has fired at a U.S. cargo ship and has directed it to Bandar Abbas port on the southern coast of Iran, Al Arabiya News Channel has reported on Tuesday.
Up to 34 American sailors are believed to be onboard the ship, Al Arabiya reported.

It will take a little while for the story to be vetted:

US denies Iran ship seizure report
American officials have denied media reports that a US cargo ship had been seized by the Iranian navy.
The Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV network had reported that a US vessel had been seized and taken to an Iranian port.
An American official told Reuters there were "no indications so far" of any US ship being directed into an Iranian port.
However, a Pentagon spokesman said a Marshall Islands-flagged ship had been boarded by the Iranian navy.

Current story is the ship was taken as a part of a lawsuit inside Iran. No Americans involved.

(Also sounds like the Iranians grabbed the ship thinking it was owned by a different company)

Not a US flagged vessel that was actually detained, and yes no Americans were on board. Funny thing though, the details escaped follow up by the OP and those of like mind that jumped on the story with alleged deep interest. I'm sure that everything is Obamas fault though, that's for sure.

Well the situation is a bit confusing because a US flagged ship had been stopped the day prior, the maersk kensington. The ship they took was the maersk tigris. Clearly they were gunning for a Maersk ship.
