NVC busy, busy, busy

Is there another way to break through the barrier instead of calling the NVC phone number listed? it is continually busy and I only want to know where our visa application is at. judging by the timelines, a call, email, or mail should be now. it is two weeks since NOA2 approval.

I called at 7 am (Central Standard Time) and got answered about 3 minutes wait

I tried calling later in the day and got "Circuits are busy"

You should get a letter in the mail any day now. Most people do around the two week mark after their case was sent to NVC, so not two weeks after NOA2. You might wanna give it till Wednesday to check for the letter. If not, then it's just a matter of re-dialling until you get through. I got circuits busy eight times in a row before I got through.

It seems to ALWAYS be continuously busy. The best thing you can do is immediately hang up and dial again. You may end up doing this 30 to 40 times before you finally get through. The key is to not give up and keep trying to get through, as eventually you will.

Save yourself the hassle and just wait for the letter in the mail

Just keep dialing and be patient. Me and my husband didnt wait for the mail to come. I dont remember when exactly the mail from NVC came, but i already had my interview when we got it. I was already in the process of getting my CFO sticker when my fiance (now husband) said that he got the mail from NVC. Lol.

If you have time and patience to spare to keep calling them, i suggest to keep doing it. For us, it was worth it. We were able to move forward faster.

Redialing is your bestfriend. Goodluck. I was able to successfully call them even around 1pm est.. Just dont give up

yes, it was a struck of luck to finally break thru, on my 4th redial after many failed attempts. keep trying or wait for the letter to arrive as one poster said. thanks

We got our approval on 27th March and my fiancee called yesterday and they still haven't received it apparently. It's taken longer to get to the NVC than it did to get the approval!
