Hi guys!

They said that single status applicants are usually denied to interview despite the their documents because of lack of strong ties.

My wedding is going to be this october. I have already my visa and will be flying to US by July.

My sister ( my maid of honor) and my friend (my bridesmaid ) are anxious of applying visa and be denied at the interview because they have heard a case like them who got denied at the interview. Can anybody give us some tips how to answer the consulate for them not to be denied.

Thanks

These things are usually decided based on the application not the interview, basically it is about showing that they would be silly to stay in the US when they have so much going for them at home.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Hi Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, this is nothing to do with your question but I just want to give you a heads up just in case your sister and your friend won't be able to come to your wedding. Have another option for your big day, If you have any relatives or family member here in US. I think this will be the best time to contact them so they can be part of your wedding. Because its true it is hard for them to get a tourist visa even though they will say they want to be part of your wedding day.

If your friend or sister probably can show a strong ties that they will coming back in the Philippines that might help. Because the consul might base their questions on the proofs that they will show. It is very hard to get a tourist visa but nothing wrong if they want to try it who knows.... maybe they might get lucky. :)
