Recently filed and a little bit nervious

Hello all,

I've kind of lurked around these parts for a while now and read a lot of the information (a lot of good information too!). I'll admit, the process is a bit of a worry but it's one that I will definitely have to stay strong through.

Out of curiosity, does anyone here have a success story filing for a fianceé from Mexico? I'm a bit nervious (and justifiably so) because being from Georgia my case will be sent to the TSC (which I haven't read too much good of as of late). Although I know that the process will not be easy I'm still trying to remain positive through it all.

Also, does anyone have advice on how to make the process go smoother and not avoid mistakes after filing?

Thanks!

A lot of K-1's get approved from Mexico, you can check out the K-1 Visa timelines: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=&op2=&op3=1&op4=1&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=Texas%20Service%20Center&op66=All&op7=Mexico&dfile=No&adv=0

The best way to not make mistakes is to read the guides here very very thoroughly and to ask questions if you are unsure about something. It's likely that someone else has asked the same question.

Good luck!

Yes, many success stories through Juarez.

Read the instructions carefully for interviewing in Juarez. Link to them in my signature.

Also, read the reviews for Juarez here on VJ to get a feel for how the process goes.

Ask questions here if you get stuck on anything. Good luck!
