I am the one that read it correctly then, that you didn't cheat. Therefore it would cause less issues in the CO thinking you cheated on your fiance

but you still have to convince them you are bona fide with a child so close to meeting. It can be overcome with quality evidence and

more face time, also evidence that you have not lived with the baby's mother under one roof. There may be AP time with filed investigations.

As I said with more time passing it will be less of a problem and you will have the opportunity to build solid evidence together during the long wait.

You have to give yourself time to build your new relationship even if it means marring your fiancee and compiling proof showing visits of her to see you over the next couple if years , communications, and finances together and if possible start a family with her. With time you will be able to make a better case when you get your next interview. Good luck!

The bottom line is this Nigeria has been classified a high visa fraud country so any little thing will be used to deny and this is how the whole thing is going to play out. The petition will be returned and your fiancee will be informed that the case has been closed because it has gone past the priority date but you can refile and that will be a good 6 or 7 months before this happens and trust me it's inevitable. Advise, if you are serious and honest to your fiancee and vice versa, you should get married and start on the spousal visa. The extra time gained plus the commitment should be an added advantage and finally you have to make sure you have evidence to prove that you are not in any way having a relationship with your baby mama.

People should stop judging him and stop assuming he is committing fraud just because he is from Nigeria. Yes his story is very atypical but he could very well be telling the truth. You never know until you have walked in his shoes. If he and his fiance are legit and truly in love who are you to question that. I hope it works out for you. Get a lawyer and file an appeal.

Type Ehtiopia into the VJ search bar top right and read the threads that pop up and also the embassy reviews.

While it is required to only have met once in the last 2 years for the petition, the CO will decide if you can show a bona fide relationship

with only one short visit at the interview stage, it is up to their discretionary opinion.

Ethiopia is not an easy consulate so I strongly advice several longer visits and a front loaded petition or you stand the chance of

being refused and having to start over.
