Islamabad Embassy - Did you get a Police Clearance certificate for IR-1/CR-1?

It clearly states on the US Embassy Islamabad website that police clearance certificate (PCC) is not required from Pakistan (link below). I get a feeling that some people applying for IR-1/CR-1 immigrant visa are still getting the PCC though, and its their choice. I am wondering if you got the PCC or not? If not, did it result in any trouble during the immigration process?

I would really appreciate people sharing their personal experiences with regard to PCC in this therad here so others can benefit from it in future too.

It clearly states that one is not needed from Pakistan. That is because they are very unreliable. You can get one, but you'd be wasting your money. My husband came to USA on a K1 and it was never asked for.
