Hello and thankyou for any help. Me and my fiance are doing a k1 visa. We sent our application out on oct 22. We didnt receive anything till dec 15saying our petition was received. We are going through texas. It is taking awhile and we havent heard anything since then. My fiance is from Philippines but she is currently working in hong kong is thats what is holding us up or are they that slow. Hope i can get some help with timeline or anything thankyou so much

Yea you can. It just taking extra long in my opinion

I used Texas Service Center and was approved in 52 days, My Great Nephew used Texas as well and his petition was approved in 45 days in Philippines.

You should of already been approved and had NOA2. I would contact a Tier 2 rep at USCIS and see what the hold up is. Maybe have your congressman look into the hold up.

Philippines as a rule is approved very fast compared to other embassies..

I have contacted a senator for south Carolina tgey are looking into it and seeing if they can do anything.

If you look down in the forum and look under Regional Section and go to Philippines Section, it if for Philippines and specific to Philippines and USEM, Lots of good and updated info down there......

Somebody on VJ said things at TSC will speed up because they are hiring new staff. We hope for the best.

Sorry, still trying to figure out how this whoe thing work....

are they really Getting new staff?? I saw online that they are transferring some applications to CSC,who should we believe at this point??

Well, that's what was said on the TSC processing time thread. You check it out by yourself. They are transferring only NEW applications to CSC. Nothing exactly is being done for the old ones.
