? I was filling the i-184 part 6 question 13. I'm torn as whether to check the box or not. I have only filed s return for last year but not the previous two because I was in school full time. Should I check the box or not. I have already written a statement explaining why i did not file for years 2012 and 2013

Personal experience..

I did not file for tax year 2012. So for that year i wrote 2012 under Tax Year and left the Total Income blank. I submitted a notarized document stating the reason why i did not file for 2012 (gave birth to my daughter). No checklist for that. But i did receive a checklist for part 6 question 5,which asks to estimate current individual annual income, make sure to write the exact amount on part 6 question 10. Hope this helps, good luck!!

Thank you. Did you check the box for question 13? The part that asks for you to check if you have filed a federal tax return for each of the last three years?

Yes i did,no checklist for that

If you have filed in the last 3 years then check the box. Also include a letter stating why you were not required to file and write for 2012 and 2013 "not required to file" instead of an income number.
