My packet 3 as well has my our NOA2 as the priority date which is 04th of March,2015. Expiration date is 04th of July, 2015. Interview date is 18th of May.

My fiancé just got his packet 4 today and his interview appointment is on may 26th also at 1pm. I was concerned with the time until I saw this. Hopefully they are just trying to extend appointment hours!

My appointment was rescheduled to 1pm and in the email they said they will not be doing morning interviews anymore all will take part in the afternoon! I first had my interview for 9am on the 5th then moved to 1pm around a week ago.

Hi. This is probably a silly question and I may be over thinking things slightly but... I received my interview letter today and besides that it is further away than I hoped, it is also at 1pm. I have been following the reviews and questions regarding interviews and have never noticed anyone having their interview in the afternoon. I guess what I'm asking is for some reassurance that they don't just schedule afternoon appointments for those they think they might refuse. Hope someone can please put my mind at rest. Thanks

If this is new and standard, it's a pain in the butt for those traveling far. I can't get a train back to Scotland after 4.30 pm and that might be cutting it fine. So yay. Budget for TWO nights at an over priced hotel in London.

Maybe you wouldn't have to spend the first night there if you didn't have to arrive at 7am. Would that work for you?

I'm looking into all options, but it takes over 7 hours from where I live because I have to connect at least twice, which is a time waster. First train I can get out of here is atfer 6 am. I have looked at flights too, although they are more expensive. I might have to invite a few people to London to share a house with me for two nights so we can have a party

I will keep checking to see, but thanks for the idea.

Have you guys looked into airbnb? It could work out cheaper than a hotel. And you could still stay slightly out of London and take a train into central London for 1pm.

It's not too bad to get to marble arch/bond street from the main train stations (Marylebone, Paddington, Liverpool st, London bridge, Waterloo, Euston, kings cross/st pancras, have I missed any?)

On a more positive note, at least we're not on the 'reject' list. And we're nearly there!

I do feel a lot better about this today. I think I was just jittery yesterday. it means so much to everyone here My interview is the 29th May which is a slight disappointment as I was hoping to fly on the 7th June. now aiming for the 14th. Still I'm not complaining about a week, its nothing when you consider how far we've come and how long we will have together Thanks everyone for your inputs xx

My suggestion is to go outside the direct area around the embassy in order to find a cheaper place to stay, and then take public transport in on the day. Even if you arrive to the area much earlier than your appointment there's plenty to see and do to waste time before you need to queue up. To stay in the direct area is basically paying for prime real estate. Unfortunately the cost of the distance to travel cannot be helped. Flying in certainly would be too expensive. Very curious why there are no morning appointments now.

I just told Daniel about this change and he said "Oh gosh" and I said "Is that worse?" (He lives in london so only 20 mins from Embassy). He said "I don't know, is it?" I just laughed. That's his mentality right now. This whole thing is such a stressor for him that any change from what he thought it was going to be is painful, even though it really makes no difference for him because he's already so close to the embassy.
