Rescheduling Interview

9 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I was able to get through to NVC today and find out our interview date.

We are scheduled for May 12.

Still haven't received a letter through the post yet, but happy to know they've scheduled something for us.

My big concern though.

I will be traveling to England in May to see my fiancé one last time before he makes the move to the US.

We have a trip planned out of the country May 7th-May 15th.

And of course the interview has fallen at a time he'll be out of the country.

Is there information in the interview letter about rescheduling?

Or anyone know where we can go or who to contact in regards to rescheduling?

Thank you SO much.

Brittany & Josh

I saw on the options when you use the contact form on the website that there is an option for changing your interview date. I don't think you can call, but don't hold me to that.

Ok thank you.

I used that form to reschedule.

Hopefully they accept our reason to reschedule. As we will be out of the country and there is just no way we can make that interview date.

Reschedule your trip, you never know. Go to your appointment.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

my husband has thought about rescheduling his appointment as well. it's on the 16th of June, but we are pregnant and he was hoping to be here for the delivery, which happens to be that very week! he is currently visiting me in America, riding out the last month of the pregnancy. if I filled out that form to reschedule, how long would it take for them to get back to us and would we have to wait several more months for the next date?

Sorry I didn't respond any sooner.

We heard back very quickly from them, only took a few days. And our interview was about 3 weeks later than our original one.

Best of luck to you
