It's taking forever to get a decision. We had our interview in late February and still noting. I had a infopaas appointment and he didn't tell me anything I needed to know. Just said they are about 300,000 green cards being sent out at the moment.

Sorry guys, I'm getting around to setting all my timeline soon.

I've been waiting 2 years for my naturalizing to process. I know the struggles and the stress of the wait. But it will be over.

I just ask because I had a stokes interview and nobody seems to have heard of that with a canadian.

Adjustment of Status From F-1 Visa.

8/14/2014: Mailed AOS package: I-130, I-485, I-765.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

8/25/2014: Received biometrics in mail. Scheduled for 9/8/2014

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

1/28/2015: Interview scheduled for 3/4/2015.

1/31/2015: Received interview notice.

3/4/2015: Interview completed and APPROVED!

3/5/2015: Welcome notice mailed and I-130 Approved.

3/10/2015: Welcome notice and I-130 approval notice received.

3/12/2015: Green card mailed.

3/14/2015: Green card delivered.

I have heard that. The infopass gentleman actually said congressman can be very helpful, without going into detail. Would that be 120 days starting after my interview?

The forum location means nothing. Turns out, the OP is adjusting from B2 and posted in the wrong sub forum. A lot of people confuse marriage based AOS with "Family based visas" that's why it is good to ask what visa they are adjustng from.

You ask specifically about Canadians. May I ask if you are Canadian-born? What about your parents? The Canada part often seems smooth and predictable a lot of the time but a lot of Canadians who are applying are not born in Canada and make have a background in a country that is a higher fraud country or a country that is not on as friendly terms with America.

It could be the circustances leading to your AOS as well. They could have been trying to find out if immigration fraud was committed. Did they give you an answer to if you were approved or not? I do hope you hear back soon.
