Hello all,

I'm new to this forum. So please bear with me.

My priority date is May 8, 2014. After waiting for about 10 months, I was notified that - via paper mail - that my i-130 was routed to CSC from VSC on March 24.

Since then I have not heard anything about my case. My online status has the same non-elating generic message "We've trasferred..............." And for the next step "we'll assign you an officer......" which has been lingering there for sometimes now.

There are some speculations over the internet that the June/July/August F2A visa bulletin may jump up 20 4 months. And I also know that NBC has started contacting March 2014 filers.

In this light, I've a couple of questions:

1) What is the next notification now? Does CSC contact me with a new receipt number and acknowledge the receipt of my i-130? Or do I need to call them and confirm? Or no action needed?

2) If, in any case, the June visa bulletin jumps 9 months and my i-130 is still pending -- what choices do I have? Please note that my i-130 is for consular processing.

I'd very much appreciate any insights shed.

Hi Rup,

1) What is the next notification now? Does CSC contact me with a new receipt number and acknowledge the receipt of my i-130? Or do I need to call them and confirm? Or no action needed? - Have patience. Our was approved on April 1, 2015 ( PD 25 Nov 2013). CSC will notify you with the same old receipt number once your I-130 is adjudicated.

2) If, in any case, the June visa bulletin jumps 9 months and my i-130 is still pending -- what choices do I have? Please note that my i-130 is for consular processing.

- I don't think that the June visa bulletin will jump 9 months as we can see many folks PD October till Dec case are not closed to receive and Interview Letter.

In the same time we never know the DOS movement..lets pray and hope it moves further rather retrogression or no movement.

Yup - sounds like the only choice available is the hardest of all -- wait :(

I have bumped into a couple of folks with a PD past may actually had their i-130 approved recently. They have had their petition transferred to VSC TO CSC as well.

This is when it gets interesting and prompts you to poking questions around :)

Thanks guys!!

I bumped into a couple of people on the internet. One's PD was in August 2014, and the other one was June 2014. Both approved at CSC.

Does anyone know how does USCIS handle petitions. Is it first come first serve, or super randomized?

Anyone with May PD received approval from CSC?

It appears that USCS has devised several provisions for Nepali applicants, is there anything to bring our family in an expedite fashion?

Thanks!
